Moments of Note
In his arrival, Magnus decided that hay would become part of his outfit, but only temporarily.
The Captain talks to the Colonel and both agree that there will never again be a war that encompasses the whole world.
Who does this Professor guy think he is by belting out to the whole room who he is upon entering? The nerve.
Sadie's eyeballs were floating, so she needed to make a side trip to the loo.
As she returns, Sadie over hears a troubling radio message about a dangerous prisoner who escaped and is on the loose.
Upon arriving Sir George Reeke, who looks mere inches away from death, informs everyone that he has made a grand discovery about his manor and has a secret to tell everyone. However, before he spills the beans, the lights go out, everyone's in the dark, and Sir George is shot. See, told you he was mere inches away...
Captain Jones attempts first aid on Sir George which only leads to his hand going through his chest.
The light from the candles is so pretty that it consumes Magnus' attention, until the Colonel snaps him out of it.
Al-Khouri's main focus is to observe every thing and every one.
Elyse's listening at the kitchen's door causes the cook to run into her, who spills a tray full of Hammond and falls to the floor. No one seems to want to help the poor old lady back to her feet.
Sadie decides that Scarlet is out cold and needs to be left alone so she leaves her be.
Nickey, for a second, believes she has to make a blood roll. That's the cost of doing business in the Reeke Manor.
Now it's the strange lumps on Sir George's face that are mesmerizing Magnus. He sure does enjoy staring at things.
We finally meet Juliet Reeke, a new widow to Sir George's son.
Professor Cole receives disturbing news about the nearby lake, but seems to ignore it out of a selfish need to find some lousy manuscript.
The Professor's exploits causes a distraught Juliet to run off and hide.
And we're left with everyone in the dining room except the Professor who is headed toward the study.
