Elizabeth Turner was never a stranger to the stage. Her father was a popular costume tailor and would often bring Elizabeth to performances. She first stepped into the stage light at 16 when she took the place of a choir girl who had suddenly fallen ill. Elizabeth had seen the show enough that she knew all the lines by heart. From then on, Elizabeth was always in the spotlight. She went on to land leading roles, ultimately carrying her career all the way to London’s famed West End.
