The second episode in The Dark Seas of Infinity's Reeke Manor series.
Session Date: 25 Mar 2026
Scenario
Continuing from session 1, Sir George Reeke has invited several guests to dinner at his secluded Tudor manor located on the West Sussex and Hampshire border in England, taking place on 31 Oct 1927.
Having gathered at the table for dinner, and after enjoying a lovely pea soup, our characters were startled by a gunshot that caused the death of their host...just before he was about to reveal a grand discovery about Reeke Manor. Then the Captain's hand ended up penetrating the corpse and the Professor's callous nature came to the forefront.

Moments of Note
Jessie reminds us where everyone is located which didn't take long since everyone but the Professor, maid, butler, and Juliet are in the dining room. KISS method initiated - Keep It Simple Silly.
While exploring the study, the Professor discovers a secret tunnel behind a fireplace, and off he goes. Well we know what curiosity did to the cat now don't we...
Elyse visits the Conservatory and is not very amused by the plants she finds there. However, in the Billiard Room she does pocket an 8-ball. She seems to be preparing to use a stone throw defense.
While in the Mud Room, Elizabeth finds her cigarettes in her coat pocket...that's where those things got off to. Smoke 'em if you got 'em. She's more excited by finding her cigs than finding a rifle shaped object she just tossed to the side.
Al-Khouri appears in the hall coming from the Conservatory. He must have been hiding earlier when Elyse was in there. What an elusive person this old man is, or was he just playing a solo game of hide and seek?
The professor discovers a couple of peep holes in the wall in the secret corridor that looks out upon the Trophy Room. The 1927 version of a nanny cam, I suppose.
A detective and a constable arrive and the detective states some guests need to head to the generator. Captain Harry Jones, Sadie Foxlove, and Prof. James G.S. Cole set out to attend to this matter. Good luck to this brave trio, we have a bad feeling about this.
The butler sets the trio on their path and is helpful to Sadie, but turns out to not be so helpful to her after all. Candles in the wind and all. You see, he gave her a candlebra to use in a storm.
Capt. Jones becomes the first character to go insane, and with his 1000 yard stare sees and hear things he shouldn't. He ends up dropping to his knees from the sheer madness, and neither Sadie nor the Professor go to his aid. How rude!
A duo of two ladies, Elizabeth and Elyse, explore a painting in the Library, Elyse punches a hole in the painting and gets a bloody arm out of the ordeal. Everyone's an art critic.
The gardener, Mr. Greene, makes an appearance as the generator trio are paused from their mission due to the Captain's issues with sanity. The insane military officer levels his rifle and shoots poor Mr. Greene's head off. It was nice barely knowing you, Mr. Greene.
And the session ends with everyone's last known locations as follows: the duo, (Elizabeth & Elyse), headed back to look at the painting in the library, the trio, (Harry, Sadie, and Prof. Cole), outside with Mr. Greene's corpse, Magnus is in the hall, and Al-Khouri is in the...dammit I just stubbed my finger. The other NPCs? They're scattered about the manor.
We shall return on Wed 8 Apr 2026 for session three of Reeke Manor - A Study In Greene.
