Fifth episode in Dark Seas of Infinity's Operation: Hound Dog mini-series, a Delta Green story.
Session Date: 16 Sept 2026
Scenario
While in the small town of Groversville, TN, a group of Delta Green agents investigate strange occurrences that happened to a one, Billy Ray Spivey. Mr. Spivey exhibited violent behaviors and displayed incredible strength as a result of unexplainable modifications to his body.
So far they have uncovered peculiar activities at the Town Hall, a pregnant female resident, possible strange lights in the sky, the body of reporter in a motel room bathtub, strange grey flesh-like globules, and a UFO investigative personality looking into the possible alien activity in Groversville.
Unfortunately for the agents, this just might only be the start to what mysteries exist in Groversville.

Episode Log
Turns out the gray globs from the bathroom battle is protomatter, the same stuff comprises the stitching done to Billy Ray Spivey. So, yeah, not pudding...not play doh. Something scarier.
Agent Sarah tries to call Agent Yarnman's phone. Agent Yarnman doesn't take the call. Nothing will interrupt Quincy's strict under cover identity of someone with a life needing food.
Agent Sarah uses the sat phone left by Agent Yarnman to contact headquarters and gets an update from them. Of course this was like playing Russian roulette, but instead of a bullet it's just a bunch of redacted nonsense.
Agent Yarnman gets dressed. Why is this news worthy? Because his clothes, which should fit perfectly, are not fitting perfectly. Apparently his suits aren't tailored for non-Euclidean body mass.
A van with a mouse holding a hammer arrives with two interesting fellows. Nothing says, "totally fine" quite like a this type of van arriving on the scene.
The van also has brought Agent Ironwood. Welcome back Ironwood. We'd say we missed you but we've been too busy dealing with "stuff" such as which organ would start whispering first.
The two fellows also arrive with the protomatter detection spray. Agent Yarnman quickly snags a bottle, returns to his room, and sprays himself with it. He starts to glow. This might be Quincy's first Delta Green mission, but he definitely didn't want to literally be green.
The two fellows get to work cleaning up Scott Adam's room and extracting Jane Allen. Clean up and pick up or as they say, a burn and run.
Agent Ironwood recognizes the clean up procedures which include dissolving the deceased body. He is okay with this as they are using EPA-certified eco-friendly materials in their disposal process. He recognizes what really matters in such dealings. Proper paperwork.
Agent Ironwood is filled in about Jane Allen and is perplexed that no one collected any samples. Let's just blame it on the fact that doing this wasn't on the intake form Agents Kala and Sarah were using.
The agents pull up on the Town Hall and enter, they greet the receptionist and get her to head to the council chambers, the agents follow. They stalked her like a couple of budget FBI agents hunting an eldritch god.
Oh goodness gracious, what did they freaking discover? A gelatinous free forming entity consisting of the county Aldermen. Their faces, legs, and arms swirling around in a giant mass of protomatter, emitting the voices similar to the residents of Groversville. You know that sometimes council meetings can be tortuous, but actually merging together to resolve zoning issues is going too far.
