In my moment of need, they have all left me."
--Agent Yarnman
Fourth episode in Dark Seas of Infinity's Operation: Hound Dog mini-series, a Delta Green story.
Session Date: 2 Sept 2026
Scenario
In September 1996, a group of Delta Green agents have arrived at the small town of Groversville, TN to investigate strange occurrences that happened to a one, Billy Ray Spivey. Mr. Spivey exhibited violent behaviors and displayed incredible strength as a result of unexplainable modifications to his body.
So far they have uncovered peculiar activities at the Town Hall, a female resident who has only been pregnant for three weeks but looks to be six months pregnant, possible strange lights in the sky, the body of reporter in a motel room bathtub, and strange globules that attack without warning. Unfortunately for the agents, this might just be the start to uncovering the mysteries of Groversville.

The vial of the grey globules that Agent Kala collected remains in Scott Adam's hotel room. Kala may be gone but her presence is still felt, her meticulous work ethnic does not take a day off.
We are informed that Agent Ironwood has been studying the matter that was found in Spivey, now known as proto-matter. Little does he know he has only been analyzing that months old goop from the back of the fridge.
Agent Yarnman goes back into the room and fetches that vial and promptly labels it: Not Pudding, Do Not Eat.
Agent Yarnman calls home to his fake wife and fake kids. Fake. As in not real. As in imaginary. As in, no one should get jealous over them because they do not exist.
Just don't ask Scott what names he gave Jessie for these individuals, memory like a fish.
When Agent Yarnman goes to get dinner, he spots the man who saw him take down the pictures from the previous night - you know when two characters finished a giant steak.
Frank C. of Phenomenx is who the guy is.
Agent Yarnman successfully pursuades Frank to show him his equipment. This is not an euphemism.
Scott was hoping he'd get a chance to kill some NPCs ... he did not.
Frank has seen the utterless cow.
Frank offers Agent Yarnman his business card when they part ways.
After dinner and the tour of Frank's van, Agent Yarnman goes on night watch and spots multi-colored, blinking lights in the sky originating from the Eastern Hills over a farm. He tries his best to track them but they disappear into the night. Agent Yarnman will just file this under "Methane Flatulence Phenomena" in his report.
Trivia
First episode where only one player contributed to the action / story. Due to technical difficulties, another player wasn't able to join in and Scott became the only player to interact with the scenerio. Jason was on hand, but his character had yet to be reintroduced into the action following his hiatus.
